Seventh Star Press is proud to announce that Glenn Porzig’s entry has been selected as the winner of the Michael West Cover Art Contest for “The City Will Eat You Alive”, a brand new short story to be released December 22nd on eBook!

We thank everyone who sent in entries for the contest!  The runner-up entry was sent in by J.H. Glaze and we were thrilled with the quality of the entries for this contest.

Set for release on December 22nd, the new short story from bestselling author Michael West follows the tale of a young woman, trying to make it on her own in 1980s New York, who encounters a pack of carnivorous subterranean creatures on her subway trip home.  It will be released in all eBook formats, including Kindle, Nook, iTunes, and Kobo.  A Kindle version pre-order window will be announced this Wednesday.  For more on Michael West, please visit www.bymichaelwest.com

 

About Glenn Porzig

Glenn Porzig is best known as the creator of the comic book heroine Ace of Diamonds. Glenn grew up reading comics, pulp novels, and watching too much TV. Glenn and his wife Carly have written three screenplays together. They live in Indiana with a menagerie of both furry and scaly pets. Since 2005 he has been the co-host of PodCulture.com an award winning weekly fandom podcast.

Glenn has worked over twenty years in the television industry. His projects include two highly rated specials for SCI FI Channel; The Roswell Crash: Startling New Evidence, and The New Roswell: Kecksburg Exposed. He currently, literally, has his head in the clouds as a videographer on a TV news helicopter.

Recently he has turned his attention to writing short stories and novellas. Glenn’s first short story, Master of the Dead, was published by Destroyer Books in More Blood: A Sinanju Anthology. His debut occult horror novella Darkness Unbound: Lady in Black was followed up by the sequel Darkness Unbound: Terror of Night and is now joined by Darkness Unbound: Shadow of Death.

Glenn is proud to have collaborated with Scream Queen Brinke Stevens to bring the story of Lady in Black to life as an audiobook as well as the sequel Terror of Night.
